One of the core responsibilities of the CEO role is to set and steer the business strategy for the company. This will shape all aspects of the company building process – how you finance, what you advance scientifically, and how you build the organization to support these goals. Having a clear sense of direction along with an approach to balancing the uncertainty and possibilities ahead will be one of the most critical aspects of your leadership. This is a dynamic process and should be revisited regularly by you, your team, and the Board.
